We have survived another New England Winter. We had lots of snow this year and we thought it was never going to end, but we have made it to May and sumer is not too far away. We had a wonderful trip home to Arbroath at Christmas time, it was so good to see all the family.
In Febuary Kathleen had her Citizenship Interview and Test, so many nights were spent going over and over the questions that could be asked at the test, Special thanks to Allen for his time helping. Kathleen is very proud to say passed with 100%. So in March Kathleen took her Oath of Aligence to the USA and became a full American Citizen. She now has a shiny new American Passport. Special Thanks go to the Honorable Mark Wolf, for conducting a wonderful Oath Ceremony and making Kathleen,s day so special.
Mum F and Mike brought Edward over to Boston for his 1st trip to the US. We were able to show him all around the Boston area and even managed a trip up to Maine to do some Outlet shopping. Edward took quite a liking for American food and enjoyed the many resturants in and around Boston. A good vacation was had by all and he cant wait to come back.
We are in the final stages of applying for Immigrant Visa's for Mum and Mike and we hope that they will be moving to Boston and their new home with us in July/August this year. So if anyone need to buy a nice house in Arbroath let us know and we will send the details.... LOL
